How I Work

Leaders rarely come to coaching because something is going badly.


More often, they are performing well but something has shifted. The role has grown, expectations have changed, or aspects of their leadership that once fitted comfortably no longer sit well. Decisions feel heavier and there is little space inside the organisation to think them through fully.


Coaching provides a confidential space outside that environment.


Our conversations are not about advice or instruction. They are a place to step back and reflect carefully on situations, relationships and decisions. We look at what is happening, how you are responding to it, and fundamentally, what you now want your role and contribution to be.


Clients often come when they are considering a promotion, a move, or a different direction in their career. Others want to reflect on how they lead and how they are experienced by colleagues and stakeholders.


As our work together progresses, clients report increased clarity, focus, energy and impact, with outcomes aligned to their agenda.


As an EMCC accredited coach and EBW Global Certified Partner, I also use the EBW emotional intelligence framework where appropriate. This helps leaders understand their impact, behavioural patterns and leadership style within their organisational context.


Coaching is confidential and individual. We agree the focus together and adjust it as the work progresses.
